Sarah and Leah are identical twins. From their very conception these girls have done everything together. Now, as grown up women, they even gave birth to their kids… together!
The women have turned 35. This is a very special time for them in life. Both twins gave birth to their first children. Both ladies are married and somehow they managed to get pregnant at the same time. They live in different states. Leah and her husband live in Denver, Colorado; while Sarah and her family reside at La Jolla, California. Both sisters were taken to the hospital at the same time. They both went into labor. June 30 the first girl have given birth to her child, they named the boy Reid Joseph. Just an hour later Sarah gave birth to her daughter and they named her Samantha Lynne. “It’s that magical twin connection I suppose,” tells Sarah. “There have just been certain things in our life where things just match up – it’s odd.”
She adds, “We didn’t plan being pregnant at the same time. But our journeys aligned, even giving birth! Twins have a special bond, it’s hard to explain.” At first, sisters had no idea they both were pregnant. They shared the good news only on the Thanksgiving family feast. “I wanted it to be a surprise, but when she showed up at the door – it was the funniest thing – I opened the door, welcomed her into the home, but as soon as I saw her, I knew she was pregnant too,” says Leah. “I can’t explain it, I just knew. My prediction was that she was five days behind me, and it turned out her due date was four days after me.”
As you can see, the baby would not wait and got born on the same day with the cousin. It seems like their mothers have something to do with it. They have such a tight emotional bond that even the bodies of the twin sisters get synchronized. We wish them all the best.
