Banky W writes new letter to all single people

vllkyt5ag7q26cqeq.55dc4364.jpgNigerian R&B musician, Bankole Wellington, a.k.a Banky W has written an epistle to his felow bachelors and bachelorettes.

Banky W In the funny piece which he wrote on social media to introduce his hot new song titled ‘Gidi Love’, he encouraged his colleagues saying that they will all get there. Read the post titled ‘My fellow Bachelors & Bachelorette’ below: For too long we have been teased, harassed and tormented by Society with “When will you marry” and “when is your wedding” ?? It is getting out of hand. U don’t see us going around to old people asking them ” please when is your funeral”? These days, I can’t even post “Good morning” on social media, without someone saying “yes but it will be a better morning WHEN YOU MARRY!”

It is with this in mind, that #GidiLove was created. The song is in defense of all single people in Lagos and all over the world. Some of us are just not ready. Some of us are single and searching but it hasn’t worked out yet. There are others who may just not want to get married at all. The point is that, in the words of the great @ youngskales, it’s Nobody’s Business. By God’s grace we will get there.. we will settle down with the right person and live happily ever after. But until then, pls leave us alone. Because the same people who are pressuring us and talking us into marriage, are the same people who will mock us and talk ABOUT us if the marriage ends quickly. If it’s party rice you people want, we will give you party rice. And peppered fish. And some ciroc to wash it down. But leave us and our single status alone. My fellow Single people, waste no time in downloading #GidiLove today. So the next time someone asks u those annoying questions, just smile and play the jam for them. By Order of the most Eligible Bachelor in Lagos.

hocking fruits on the tree shaped as little womens

u2.jpgu1.jpg

You won’t believe your eyes when you see what fruits this tree produces! They have found this sacred fruit bearer in Thailand, but is it a real tree?

It seems like this tree bears fruits in shaped like young women. Some people filmed this unusual fruit on camera. People are shocked by what they see on those pictures. However, not everyone believes this is for real. Ancient myths of Buddhism tell us of the sacred tree, which bears the womanlike fruits. This tree was created by one of their gods, whose daughter walked through the woods and was attacked by terrifying men. So, her father created the tree with the female fruits to catch their attention and make his daughter safe.

The myth tells us that those who take the fruit and make love with it, fall asleep for four months and lose their power forever. Do you believe this story is true?

Twin sisters give birth to their babies at the same time!

chncdhaHR0cHM6Ly93aWtyLmNvbS93cC1jb250ZWchncdhaHR0cHM6Ly93aWtyLmNvbS93cC1jb250ZWSarah and Leah are identical twins. From their very conception these girls have done everything together. Now, as grown up women, they even gave birth to their kids… together!

The women have turned 35. This is a very special time for them in life. Both twins gave birth to their first children. Both ladies are married and somehow they managed to get pregnant at the same time. They live in different states. Leah and her husband live in Denver, Colorado; while Sarah and her family reside at La Jolla, California. Both sisters were taken to the hospital at the same time. They both went into labor. June 30 the first girl have given birth to her child, they named the boy Reid Joseph. Just an hour later Sarah gave birth to her daughter and they named her Samantha Lynne. “It’s that magical twin connection I suppose,” tells Sarah. “There have just been certain things in our life where things just match up – it’s odd.”

She adds, “We didn’t plan being pregnant at the same time. But our journeys aligned, even giving birth! Twins have a special bond, it’s hard to explain.” At first, sisters had no idea they both were pregnant. They shared the good news only on the Thanksgiving family feast. “I wanted it to be a surprise, but when she showed up at the door – it was the funniest thing – I opened the door, welcomed her into the home, but as soon as I saw her, I knew she was pregnant too,” says Leah. “I can’t explain it, I just knew. My prediction was that she was five days behind me, and it turned out her due date was four days after me.”

As you can see, the baby would not wait and got born on the same day with the cousin. It seems like their mothers have something to do with it. They have such a tight emotional bond that even the bodies of the twin sisters get synchronized. We wish them all the best.

How social media fuel examination malpractices in Nigeria

Facebook Twitter WhatsApp Email – Social media have kept the world going and citizens of the world smarter, but just as they have their advantages, they are a growing problem to the education sector – Across the world, issues of examination malpractice have become of major concern and stakeholders, including in Nigeria, have troubled themselves in search of solutions – Ethiopia and Algeria are two countries that have banned the use of social media during examinations, but Ethiopia says the ban is only temporary An average examination centre or hall in Nigeria is a comedy arena. Every candidate comes into the hall exuding confidence. Nigerian students in an examination hall Then the examination commences, question papers and answer sheets distributed. And suddenly the real show begins. These supposed confident students reach for every corner of their bodies and bags and armed with their phones or other electronic devices, they pour out what they never read. Actually, while the candidates sat in the halls in readiness to commence the exercise, some other Nigerians, sometimes including even parents of some of the candidates, were scattered outside preparing the answers to the already leaked questions and sending them in through the various social media.

Facebook, Twitter, Viber, Instagram and even dating sites including Twoo, Eskimi and their likes have become very useful in for the country’s students. All that is needed is a proper knowledge of the usability of the particular medium to be used. And the candidate goes to sleep. Here is the true story: some of the candidates are successful and happy while others are mourning their failure. While the circle goes on, students go further into higher institutions becoming a general embarrassment to the nation extremely poor performances in examinations and academic works. Such is the pathetic tale of the sliding fortune of education now attracting lamentation from every part of the country and among stakeholders.

Each year, examination-regulating bodies come up with various strategies to beat examination malpractices, yet, like the proverbial bird talked about in Chinua Achebe’s Things Fall Apart, the candidates also come up with ways to beat the examination handlers. High-tech cheating with social media is not just the exclusive preserve of Nigeria. The world has had cause to look into the challenge. A survey in a US news and world report published by Caveon, shows that 80 percent of high school students admit to cheating, 51 percent of high school students did not believe cheating was wrong, 95 percent of cheating high school students had not been detected. As countries continue to search for ways to curb the menace of examination malpractices, the Ethiopian government has blocked the use of social media by students especially during examinations. This is coming just after a similar ban by the Algerian government in an attempt to fight cheating students in secondary schools. The report from Algeria said almost half of students in the country were forced to retake the baccalaureat exam after an online leak that discredited the first session. According to the report, many of the students accessed questions on Facebook and other social media ahead of the examination in early June. In the case of Ethiopia, it decided to block Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Viber after a massive leak of examination questions on social media. The government says its action is to force students to study hard for the academic exercise instead of to focus on rumour. The social media remain banned all through the days the examination into higher institutions would hold, the spokesman for the Ministry of Education, Getachew Reda, said in a country that has often gone harsh on use of the media, according to the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC).

“The government here is very keen to control social media.

Naira weakens to N365/$1 at parallel market

Nigeria’s currency, naira has weakened further against the American dollar at parallel market. The naira fell to its lowest level since the start of the new foreign exchange regime on Friday, July 15, to exchange at 363/$1, 392 to Euro and 465 to the Pound Sterling, But even as many had expected the Naira to strengthen at the start of the new week, the nation’s currency again plummeted as it lost N2 today, July 18. vllkyt2llvmnb0mho.503e7089.jpg

However, the CBN remains optimistic that the naira would eventually settle at 250 to the dollar at the interbank market.

There are also reports that the apex bank had finally freed the naira so that its rate on the Nigeria Interbank Foreign Exchange (NIFEX) will be determined by the interplay of demand and supply. The local currency has been on the downward swing following a plunge in crude oil prices and a consequent decline in Nigeria’s foreign reserves.

Girls Let Me Teach You People How To Chat

images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTKvuEM5d7-OfMNFvOlTU6

. 1. Always be appreciative when a guy tries to make you laugh. One of the major chat killer is when you have a low sense of humour, how you response to a joke goes a long way in making the chat interesting. Its so annoying when a guy crack a very funny joke to a girl and all she could reply is "lol" or "smiles".... So annoying. .

2. One other chat killer is when you lack continuity, its not nice to be using a mono-syllabic mode of chatting. Some girls will be the first to inbox you...for example; Girl: Hey Guy: hello how are u? Girl: fine. Guy: how was ur day? Girl: Kul. Haba...At least have the decency to ask how his own day went na. i.e Guy: how was ur day? Girl: Kul, and urs? If you don't know, that's what keeps a conversation going.

. 3. When someone deliberately exaggerates, please flow along with him, he's just trying to be funny. Don't give a dry response. For example; Guy: what are you doing now? Girl: eating Guy: ok should I come and join you? Girl: mtchww...me that stays in Lagos, so I should stop eating and wait for you to come from Abuja right? Mumu, he was just joking! .

4. Please if you know you're busy with something, then don't come online. Stop replying a message after 9hrs or even days. Some will just leave when the chat is getting interesting without saying bye, they will just leave you waiting for their replies .

5. Its a conversation and not an interview. Ask questions too. Don't make him to be asking all the questions. .

6. No where in the Bible or Quran or the constitution that a guy should be the one to always start a chat, learn to also start a conversation too. .

7. Stop asking for recharge cards through a chat, believe me it makes a chat BORING. . Hope You Got That???
